Jana & fabio
| italian summer wedding // Mezzogiorno Stuttgart

Jana and Fabio’s wedding began in the most relaxed way – just around midday. The two were already at the Mezzogiorno restaurant in Stuttgart with their closest friends, helping with the final touches. In a laid-back atmosphere, we started the day with a short photo session featuring their four witnesses – a lovely moment to capture some togetherness before the ceremony began.
For the couple session, we headed to a nearby parking garage. The urban backdrop fit the couple’s style perfectly – modern, minimal, and with a subtle Italian flair. Before things continued, Jana and Fabio made a quick stop back home to take a breath and enjoy a moment alone.

Meanwhile, guests were gathering in the park in front of the restaurant. Jana and Fabio made a fitting entrance to their outdoor ceremony in a red Alfa Romeo convertible. The ceremony itself was led by their witnesses – personal, humorous, and filled with moments unique to the couple. A few emotional speeches followed, reflecting the close bonds they share with family and friends.

After the ceremony, the atmosphere was warm and joyful. On their invitation, Jana and Fabio had gently requested a child-free celebration – and the parents in attendance seemed to fully relish the day.
Dinner began with the Italian tradition of waving cloth napkins to welcome the couple – a nod to Fabio’s roots. The two then addressed their guests with a few heartfelt words. A particularly emotional moment was the short concert performed by Jana’s maid of honor. It was the first time Jana had ever heard her sing live – a beautiful surprise that deeply moved many.
Dinner itself was a real highlight: a beautifully plated, four-course Italian menu with fresh fish, handmade pasta, and – instead of a traditional wedding cake – tiramisu for dessert. (As a photographer with Italian roots, I can only say: an excellent choice.)

Later, the witnesses handed out sparklers to all the guests, and Jana and Fabio opened the dance floor with an unplanned but very heartfelt first dance. Their joy was infectious. With a DJ from their favorite club, the party continued late into the night – energetic, spontaneous, and full of life.
A day remembered for its ease, personal touches, and the strong connection between the couple and their guests.
