cassie & gianluca
| civil ceremony at Schloss Schwetzingen, Germany

Cassie & Gianni’s civil wedding began at midday in the baroque chapel of Schwetzingen Palace – a place that feels made for moments like these. When Cassie walked through the door in her simple yet effortlessly elegant dress, time seemed to pause. Gianni’s face as he saw her for the first time was filled with emotion – the kind of look you don’t forget. The guests were swept up in the atmosphere: laughter, tears, sighs – all happening at once. One of those ceremonies where you can truly feel how deep connection can go.

After the ceremony, we wandered into the expansive palace gardens for the couple shoot. We strolled through the tree-lined paths, having a good time – and along the way, we took some beautoful natural and intimate photos.

Then the two drove off in a white vintage car toward Mannheim, where friends and family were already waiting to greet them with applause. In front of the venue a champagne tower and the wedding cake was cut – a delicious mix of Italian Nutella cream and fine pastry, lovingly honoring Gianni’s roots.
The guests enjoyed the reception in the warm afternoon sun before heading inside later in the evening for the dinner setting.
